Importance of Regular Check and Maintenance of Jaw Crusher

Jaw crusher is also known as tiger mouth which crushes the materials by simulating the two jaws of animals through the crushing cavity composed of movable jaw and fixed jaw plate. It is widely used for the medium crushing of all kinds of ores and large materials in mine, metallurgy, building material, highway, railway, water conservancy, chemical and other industries. The maximum compression strength of the materials to be crushed is 320 Mpa.

1. Regularly turn off the machine to check it.

Pay attention to turn off jaw crusher regularly and check the wear condition inside the machine, such as central feeding tube, cone cap, lining boards of upper and lower runner of the impeller, circular guard plate and wear-resisting blocks, and timely replace parts with more serious wear and repair them. At the same time, pay attention to the weight, model and size of the changed parts which must be changed according to the parameters of the original parts.

2. Regularly check the driving belt.

The driving belt of jaw crusher is indispensable in the stone production line. The mechanical driving owns to it. Adjust regularly the tightness of the belt to make sure it bears stress evenly. When the machine is driven by double motors, the triangle belts on both sides should be grouped, selected and matched to make the length of each group consistent as much as possible. If the wear of the belt is too serious, please change it in time.

3. The lubrication of mechanical parts.

Jaw crusher uses the superfine lubrication grease applied by Mobil auto or 3 lithium base grease; suitable amount of grease is added to mechanical parts when jaw crusher works for every 400 hours; after jaw crusher works for 2000 hours, open the assembly of the main shaft to clean the bearing; the bearing needs to be changed after it works for 7200 hours.

In addition, to guarantee the normal work of jaw crusher, other than correct operation, planned maintenance is also necessary, including daily minor repair, medium repair and heavy repair.
