Magnetic separation process (iron ore beneficiation plant or iron ore processing plant) is made up of jaw crusher, ball mill, spiral classifier, magnetic separator, concentrator and dryer, etc. Since this magnetic separation process is advanced, utilization rate of minerals can reach 90%. Water and power consumption is little. The equipping of auxiliary devices is dependent on your demands.
To decrease the production of slurry minerals and improve the working efficiency of ball mill, we adopt the two-stage milling process when designing the plant.
Magnetic separation process
1. The mined ores are coarsely crushed by jaw crusher, then delivered into ball mill for grinding through elevator and feeder.
2. The ground fines are classified by the spiral classifier.
3. Mineral particles, which are coarsely separated by magnetic separator, are delivered into flotation machine. Then, to separate the qualified minerals from others, we add specific drugs in flotation machine.
4. The qualified minerals are finally dried by the dryer.
